Red Dust-Elephants and Wide Horizons
Depart Watamu at 06:00 AM, entering Tsavo East. Explore dry acacia zones looking for big cats. Have lunch, relax at Ashnil Aruba, and take an evening game drive. Overnight in Tsavo East.
Mzima Springs Oasis and Shetani Flows
Drive to Tsavo West. Visit volcanic Shetani flows. Lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge, followed by a visit to Mzima Springs to view hippos and fish from the underwater tank. Evening game drive, overnight in Tsavo West.
Mt. Kilimanjaro and Giant Tusker Swamps
Drive to Amboseli. Check-in and dine at Kibo Safari Camp. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli’s famous seasonal lake basin and swamps, teeming with elephants, pelicans, and hippos under the mountain. Overnight Amboseli.
